John Fitzgerald Kennedy

This man, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, has absolutely fascinated me with his life.  His life is extremely unique. I am one of those people who support John F. Kennedy and his legacy. Otherwise this blog wouldn't be here. I am very young and this former President of the United States of America has really affected me. I have never met or seen JFK in person but I have read quite about him. As you can see JFK was a very influential man. When he won the elections for presidency on January 20th, 1961 you could see the world go wild. He made friends instantly and at the same time made enemies instantly. Several events have made the man Kennedy was. The Bay of Pigs Invasion, the Cuban Missile crisis, the construction of the Berlin Wall, the Space Race, the African American Civil Rights Movement, and the early stages of the Vietnam war are the main highlights of Kennedy's presidency. He was a man of peace and power thus leading to controversy. It is said in the documentary Virtual JFK: Vietnam if Kennedy had lived, 6 times the topic of war against Vietnam was raised and each of the times he successfully got out of going through with it. What a man of skill do achieve such great things. JFK wanted change, a new way of thinking from the government, peace, no involvements in war, and to be on good terms and forgive enemies. Because of those and many more reasons John F. Kennedy was assassinated. I really don't know what wrong during that period of time. Why did it have to happen? Why was that Lee Harvey Oswald, other people, and other organizations involved in the murder? He is referred to sometimes by people who dislike Kennedy as a communist. He was heading towards revolution. If you look at what he was trying to achieve wasn't bad at all. He was a good man. Many presidents before JFK have wanted and achieved change. Through the efforts, their lives in danger but never such a brutal and gruesome assassination as Kennedy's. Why did Kennedy die, because of his efforts of change, and the president's before him, who also did the same, did not? Why just Kennedy? Why so brutally too? There have been many theories of his death. One of which is the conspiracy theory, which I believe in. Anyway I am not here to go on and on about the death of John F. Kennedy. I am here to talk about him, his life, his social circle, and just a bit of his assassination. John F. Kennedy is a monumental man and president. I just want to talk, hear, and share views about him.

Thanks,
The Known Secret.
